Hamlet
A hamlet is a small settlement, typically with a population of no more that 50 people. In most parts of the Empire the word is used to refer to a minor village, usually with a single road or crossroad and a handful of buildings.
In Sigmarite law, a hamlet has a legally defined meaning as 'a village served by no temple blessed by holy Sigmar', which in turn has become the legal definition in Reikland and Stirland, too.
In Talabecland, a hamlet is commonly defined as any village too small to have more than one street name.
