The Mhelikid Skoner, commonly known as "The Trouble Sweepers," are an elite force of distinguished warriors, hand-picked by the Sigilite to eliminate local and regional threats before they trouble the Kingdom.

Composition

Manpower

There are six teams of Mhelikid Skoner, each consisting of 12 members. The make-up of each team is not uniform, instead being equipped with talents best suited towards each team's primary threat specialty.
Five teams are active at any given time. Typically, three will be deployed to hot-spots within the kingdom while one is held held in reserve to work the capital region or it's non-domestic interests. The remaining team is considered on "active leave," able to recalled at a moment's notice.

Equipment

It is said that the Mhelikid are equipped with armor, weapons, and items hand-crafted by the Kingdom's finest craftsmen and imbued by top-tier artificers and wizards with mystical properties.

Structure

While each team's roster composition is uniquely individual, they all follow the same command principles.
Each team has a Primary contact who answers directly to the Sigilite and is considered the de facto "leader" of the team. After that, the team is made of equals. Once the mission is assigned, the Primary will brief the team, nominating a Secondary and Tertiary command for the mission based on assessment of the threat, member specialties, and the best chance of bringing the whole team back alive. The team has a chance to counter-nominate before the vote, but it is rarely needed.

Recruitment

The initial teams were hand-picked by the Sigilite from soldiers and adventurers that distinguished themselves in the war against the Eer Sadyr. While the Sigilite reserves the right to place members as he sees fit, most teams nominate their own replacements as needed, who then go through a vetting trial by the Sigilite.
