Session Thirteen: The Road to Wundletrundle

General Summary

  • Day 1: Garras finds the Cape of Billowing on Merrick Shadowbrand, Erpos' business partner/friend
  • A few hours pass and an arrow strikes past Brengalyn's cheek and hit a nearby wall. No one sees where it came from.
  • A note is attached to the arrow and is addressed to Chester Gladstone
“Chester Gladstone, this is a formal notice that your eyes will be shoveled out of your skull if you are to be found in the New Bradford Territory. The reason that the council has forbid your presence and are believed that you have acted deliberately in the act(s) of: Burglary, Murder, Jailbreak and Treason. There will be no trial. There will be no mercy. You and anyone associated with the likes of you will not be tolerated as they chose to act above the law. Consider this your first and final warning from the White Wolves of Bradford.”
  • Maxwell Gladstone
    • The Party is in the Northern Holds and not The Bradford Empire any longer.
    • Day 2: There is a traveling caravan of halflings making its way through the valley.
    • They sell trinkets, put on plays, and tell delightful stories and sing songs.
    • It’s really quite fun. And yet, there’s something odd about their impromptu camp at night. They are a group of thieves that leave the party alone because of Garras and one of them remembers Garras from their hometown in Beaburry Brook)
    • Nessire Leafspell is the halfing leader of the troupe
    • Barlos Wildtopple is the most partiest of the halfings
    • Saves them 2 days
    • Day 3: Gets colder as you approach Wundletrundle. Everyone has to start making constitution saving throws
    • 2 Shadows emerge from Orianna’s body and attack party while camping at night.
    • They split into more when one dies from ranged or melee weapons
    • Candle of the deep is dropped
    • Day 4: There’s an invisible wall on the forest path.
    • Once you pass through it, you can’t seem to go back – some kind of curse.
    • People on the original side can’t see or hear you.
