Blade of Glory: The Blade of Glory is an ancient prize. Found in ship ruins of the Dryaedes Cluster by St. Alexel Valerius before the first schism, the Blade of Glory was abandonned but mostly in a perfect state. Now written as a mythic undertaking in the eyes of the Emperor for the ascending Saint to gains the divine favours of He Who Reigns On Terra, the Blade Glory was repurposed as the command ship of the Saint Alexel Valerius' crusade army from the Dryaedes to break the 17th Legion Word Bearers invasion of the Gorian Sector.
After Alexel Valerius' death on the hive world of Lostria, the ship pursued the renegade fleets in the Warp. While a psychic signature fitting to the powerful ship was sighted in the Korinthian Sea of Stars, all hope of finding the mythical ship was lost when the Korinthian Nebulae was created as the stellar graveyard of the deceased sub-sector.
However, informants from the court of Lord Admiral Navis Imperialis Von Reïkein had allegedly identified its location and he sent an expedition in the Nebulae to find it. When the Gorian Civil War started decades later, Lord Admiral Von Reïkein joined the future Lord Sector Goriae in his cause and pledged the ship to the authority of the one he sees as Saint Valerius reborn.


Overall description: Allegedly a ship of the mythical Glorianna-Class, these were once purposely built as Legiones Astartes flagship for the Emperor's Great Crusade. However, the loss and disappearance of two legions and the unconfirmed number of ships truly built during this era makes many pretence of non-standard template ships dubious at best. However, its stupendous size and raw destructive abilities give credence to the ship being one such powerful beast of war.
Military Capability: Its front armour has a reinforced prow of an ageing design, while most of its weapon are very ancient heavy conversion beamers, graviton macro-canons, plasma and turbo-laser lances, while its torpedo tubes are equipped with a large variety of melta and vortex torpedoes. The ship has lodging for wings of bombers and fighter crafts and the place to contain tens of thousands of highly equipped troops and their support equipment, making each ship quite capable of administering a planetary invasion or destroying an entire fleet in its own right.

Alexel Septimus: During and after Alexel Septimus' reign, the Blade of Glory was his Flagship and the Glorianna-Class was used in most naval actions that affected the Gorian Sector and environs. The ship layed waste to many of its enemies until the events of the Gorich Interdiction, where it was reportedly destroyed during the creation of the Dark Omen mega-blackhole.
