Overview: Daxtra Vortis is a fast growing Agriworld of industrial level. When a colonist fleet was assembled from Fallayn-Beta population, it was sent to Daxtra Vortis to form a new and bountiful agriworld. Instead, its history started in blood. The colonists were transported in billions towards Datra Vortis and selected amongst many ancient civilisations that dwelled in the city of Falling Sky. As soon as the ships reached orbit, a military coup was made to overthrow House Jarrys that was to be at the head of the new agri-world. Supported by unknown benefactors from Madranoc. It lended infiltrated Mad Stalkers that exterminated Hous Jarrys high-command and most of its enforcer and PDF officers. The rebels boarded the ship that was head of the colonisation effort and took over control of the settlement and named the World Daxtra Vortis, in honour of House Vortis that now commanded the world. The reign of House Vortis was short-lived, however. A generation later, house Korvash organised a putsh against it, taking its potent private armies and using its contacts in the late house Jarrys militia to overthrow an incompetent and brutal regime. They kept the name of Vortis in both the world and capital city, but established a new political regime, where all houses governing the planetary provinces were free to administer their civilian affairs but had to recruit men for the Garrison Primary elite PDF and send their tithe to administratum controls. As such, the world has become much more peaceful since that second rebellion. Vortis Prime: Being the capital city, Vortis Prime had been built as a fortress to protect the Vortis dynasty from rebellion on the part of one of its vassals. While house Korvash stripped all houses of their own military forces in exchange for greater autonomy, Vortis Prime has been built to a greater degree of security to ensure that house Korvash won’t ever be victim to a putsch similar to the one it inflicted upon their predecessor. The city is by far the greatest military construction of its immediate region of space and is surrounded with gigantic spaceport lanes, railroads, silos and warehouses for landing ships to take over the Imperium’s tithe.
