Criminal Activity
Les crimes du Lord Protector Farlow endommagent le secteur avant que l'Inquisition n'y mette fin.
The Gorian Sector bordered on collapse. Goria Secundus, capital of the Synodian Depth, was the shadow of itself after the Towers of Glass Incident while Goria Primus was barely able to sustain its population because of the destroyed ecosystem of its once verdant plains. Most of its economy was in debt to the Passeran Dominion of the Surepar Sub-Sector and the Dryaedes Cluster served only as a source of income for the personal pleasures of the Gorian ruling elite. Rebellions were numerous and many proposed to join the Templarii Fiefdom in its separation from the Gorian Sector and a secessionist wind was spreading over the ruined sector. To ensure total dominion of the Janeko Hegemony over the Sector, Lord Protector Farlow of House Janeko concluded a deal with the Drukhari Kabal of the Crimson Tear. In exchange that he’d move away the Battlefleet Goriae assets under his command, the Crimson Tear would have free reign to pillage and plunder worlds that opposed the way things were under Farlow. In secret, agents of the Inquisition discovered the situation and assassinated Lord Farlow by making it seems as illness due to old age, wishing to stop the sector from devolving in a violent war of succession. The Inquisition put into place his successor, Lord Janekor Junior the Second as Lord Protector Goriae.
