The Dryades Cluster falls silent at the end of 41 178. When Talid aligned Chartist Captains and mercenary ships are sent to this destination, they are attacked by Battlefleet Dryaedes and Rogue Trader elements that are described as highly damaged. The attack overpowers the para-military assets sent there by Inquisitor Katalina Talid, which request assistance from Lord Protector Barbatus.   A destroyer patrol is sent to investigate from Jenkin’s Last Hope and report that the entire cluster has risen under the banner of the Arch-Nemesis of Sontha, which is described as a prophetic leader of a highly militarised heretical sect and took control of the region in one fell swoop. Reinforcements are called from Segmentum Command and Lord Commander Dante of Imperium Nihilius while loyalist elements of the Dryaedes Cluster finally reaches Jenkin’s Last Hope.
