Spooktober 2022

For Spooktober, I tried to find a little (or, in some instances, not so little) scene from the novel-ish something I'm writing which fits the prompt in one way or another. Some of these scenes already existed in some way, either in my mind or in that blue notebook you can see as my header image on some of my articles. It contains a collection of scene drafts. Most of these scenes are not spooky, because that doesn't really work for the kind of story I'm writing.

While I immediately had an idea for some of the prompts, others were quite the struggle to come up with. I finished the last few prompts with only a few hours to spare before the end of Spooktober.

Since these scenes are picked from random spots in the story, I will list the entries for Spooktober chronologically from beginning to end of story. The numbers represent the number of the prompt and are therefore in a very strange order, which may or may not look like total chaos, so please, don't let that mess with your head.
