    Death of King Theador Soanis

    On March 22nd 1106 CE, King Theador Soanis of Urtheon was found dead in his chambers. He had previously exhibited symptoms similar to the Fever, so his death was claimed to have occured naturally, but a poisoning could not be ruled out either. Many suspect that Laethis Soanis, the King's son, was behind his father's death.

    Immediately after his father's death, Laethis Soanis was crowned King of Urtheon. On the day of his coronation, Laethis also immediately began setting his plans for a new Acadean Empire into motion.

    After learning of Laethis' plans at obliterating Eleonis and his conquering campaigns, Micael Leandos realized it would take more than his own army to withstand him. He made alliances with Lupear and Aguilear by promising each King's son one of his daughters' hands in marriage.

    Duel between Laethis Soanis and Riarcos Angeleos
    Military action

    After several battles with no clear winner and more and more significant losses on both sides, Laethis Soanis proposed a duel to decide the outcome of the war. Since eleonian King Micael Leandos was incapacitated due to severe injuries, he appointed General Riarcos Angeleos to be his champion. Riarcos won the duel and therefore the war for the Southern Alliance.

    Death of Micael Leandos

    Two days after the victory of the Southern Alliance, eleonian King Micael Leandos succumbed to his injuries. On the same day, General Riarcos Angeleos also passed away due to the wounds he sustained mainly in his duel agains Laethis Soanis, but also in the previous battles.

    Counsil of the eleonian Lords

    After the deaths of King Micael Leandos, the four remaining Lords of Eleonis came together to decide the future of the kingdom. The counsil made a decision and appointed Riarcos' son, Ealdir Angeleos, the new King of Eleonis by majority vote.

    Peace of Leandor
    Diplomatic action

    A few months after the victory of the Southern Alliance, the Kings of Eleonis, Lupear and Aguilear came together in Leanor, the former eleonian capital, to negotiate the terms of the peace treaty with Urtheon and its allies. The new King of Urtheon was also present, but only to sign the contract made by the victors.
