FoundingZairah and Antheos arrive in Lathear with some serbaith survivors. They initiate a resistance group named the Dragons to fight Iohan's forces once they returned. Zairah had previously overheard a conversation between Iohan's soldiers talking about the plans to conquer Baitha.

Military actionIohan comes to Baitha to conquer it and grow his army, but is met by resistance in the city of Lathear. After the battle, the city is sacked and most of the resistance fighters are killed or captured. Among those captured is the leader of the resistance, Zairah Lear. Antheos is also captured, but betrays his friend by joining Iohan's army.

Life, RelocationWith the help of urtheonian Crown Prince Milnor Soanis, Zairah is able to escape from Soane. In return, she promised to Milnor to ride to Eleonis to inform King Ionathar Angeleos of Iohan's plans, which he had previously disclosed to her.

ExpeditionAfter discovering Zairah's escape, Iohan sends Milnor and Zairah's former friend Antheos after her. Milnor, knowing that he send her to Eleonis, deliberately misleads Antheos. They unsucessfully search in all of Urtheon. Milnor chooses to return home after reaching the eastern border of Urtheon, Antheos continues into the Dark Forest.

Civil actionZairah reaches Angeleor and tells Ionathar about Iohan's revenge plans, just as she promised to Milnor. Ionathar decides to travel to Soane in the hopes to prevent Iohan's attack on Eleonis. Zairah and his sister Eleona accompany him.

Diplomatic actionAfter Ionathar, Eleona and Zairah are intercepted in Lupear by Crown Prince Nicoleas Aorelis, they are brough before his father, King Thameos Aorelis of Lupear. At first, Thameos is unwilling to let them continue their journey.

The journey continues
Thameos eventually decides to let Ionathar, Eleona and Zairah continue. Nicoleas is appointed to accompany them to the lupean border. His sister, Mireanda, also joins the party and stays with the eleonian trio for the rest of their travels.

Reconnection with the Dragons
After leaving Nicoleas behind in Lupear, Eleona, Zairah, Ionathar and Mireanda continue into the Dark Forest, where they are intercepted by some of Zairah's old friends from Lathear. They are invited to the Dragons's hideout. Without realizing it, they had been followed by Antheos, who shows up there soon after them. Zairah's built-up anger at his betrayal and abuse breaks out and causes her to kill Antheos.

Confrontation in Soane
Military: SkirmishIonathar, Eleona and Mireanda confront Iohan in Soane with Zairah as their backup, which goes sideways and forces a hasty retreat. Zairah's arrows kill Beodin and injure Iohan. Since the arrows were laced with fireberry poison, which slows the healing process, this buys them some time.

Ionathar, Eleona, Zairah and Mireanda arrive back in Angeleor. Ionathar and Eleona's mother, the General of the eleonian army, starts preparing the army for the impending battle.

Zairah rejoins the Dragons
After her expedition with Eleona, Mireanda and Ionathar, Zairah returns to the hideout of the Dragons. They return relocate to the former location of a serbaith village in the Dragon's ridge. Zairah starts training them to fight, which she learned from Ionathar and Eleona during their travels.

With Iohan's army bearing down on Angeleor, Mireanda reluctantly returns to her father's court in Aorelia.

First Battle of Angeleor
Military actionEnraged by the incident in Soane, Iohan rushes his attack on Eleonis. Due to his lack of proper preparation, the attack is easily beaten back by the eleonian army and Iohan is forced to retreat to Soane to regroup and recuperate.

Alliance between Eleonis and Lupear
Diplomatic actionAfter the first battle, the eleonians suspected that Iohan would be back with a larger force. Therefore, Ionathar travelled to Lupear, this time officially, to discuss an alliance with the kingdom. This alliance does indeed happen. Thameos also proposes to seal the deal by a marriage between Ionathar and Mireanda, which Ionathar agrees to only after assuring Mireanda's consent.

Diplomatic actionAfter sealing the alliance with Lupear, Ionathar travels to Aguilear to ally with King Maorcas Meados as well. Sealing the alliance, the constellation of the Southern Alliance from the Great War is reconnected.

MarriageIonathar and Mireanda are married in Angeleor. Their marriage is kept a secret between only very few people due to a superstition among the soldiers that a newlywed on the battlefield is bad luck.

Military actionA now much better organized army attacks Eleonis again, but is met by a larger, well-organized alliance. The alliance was also supported by a small, but now well-trained group of the Dragons led by Zairah. The battle lasts several hours and culminates in a meeting of Ionathar and Iohan on the battlefield.

Duel between Iohan and Ionathar
Military actionIonathar challenges Iohan to single combat to end the bloodshed and decide the battle. Even though Iohan is considered one of the best swordsmen in Leanor and Ionathar is already injured, Ionathar wins the duel, kills Iohan and thereby wins the war for Eleonis and its allies.

Return of a hero
Life, Achievement/ WinAfter defeating Iohan in single combat, an exhausted and injured, but victorious Ionathar returns to Angeleor. Upon his return, almost every soldier who saw or heard what had happened, kneels before him, a rare sign of the utmost respect. As soon as Ionathar reaches the privacy of his chambers, he passes out into a deep sleep, during which his wounds are taken care of.

Conference of the Victors
Diplomatic actionThe leaders of the three kingdoms convene to discuss the aftermath of the war. In the evening, a victory celebration is held in the Riarcos-Bridge-Inn. During that celebration, Ionathar announces his marriage to Mireanda publically.
