Warning: Arcane fluctuations detected....
Proceed with extreme caution...

It is believed that Arajryn was once a thriving metropolis and the seat of power for an ancient and forgotten god. Now the world is desolate, consumed by wastes and plagued by untamed arcane forces. Now all that remains of its splendor are the abandoned cities that act only as grave markers now.

Geography

The world is mostly desert wastes due to the curse placed upon it. Certain areas are affected by an arcane plague that ravages and twists the land. These areas of confluence are incredibly deadly and strike at random.
Due to the imbalance of Arkora within the world, rips within the veil have caused the Foundations to seemingly merge with the physical world around it. This has created pseudo pocket dimensions between the worlds.

Fauna & Flora

Nearly all life has been extinguished, though what remains is a pale shadow of itself. These creatures have been warped and twisted by the Arkora, becoming savage deadly things. Creatures from the Foundations, especially the Everdark, have filled in most of the lost ecology. Creating a dead world of deadly predators.

Natural Resources

Many adventurers and archeologists have ventured there to uncover the secrets of the world.

Fall of a Deceiver

Many scholars believe that the world was the throne of Mathus the Deceiver, who started the god war that nearly broke the Hegemony in the distant past. Many point out that the world was registered as a holy site where pilgrims would travel to pay homage to their god. One of the most perturbing dimensions of this mystery is the seemingly blatant attempt to remove the god's name from all records. Whether by acts of fate or intentional sabotage, the world remains an enigma.   though the name of the god has been wiped from the records.

Rumors

Adventures and archeologists alike have traveled to the world searching for the lost treasures of the god and their people. Whether brave or foolish, none have met with success. Some believe that it is because the world is cursed, pointing to the arcane plague that wreaks havoc across the world. Others believe the god's augury is to blame. Whether it is from trespassing or misfortune, some expeditions have simply vanished, having laid their burden down beside the fallen pilgrimages that came before them.
Only several minor discoveries have been found there, such as the holy site where a dais lays shattered. Surrounding it are the skeletal figures garbed in expensive robes and suits. This has lead to the belief that when the god was struck down his followers were entombed with him.

When gods are killed

The discovery of this world has lead to many concerns within the Tyraptria. The greatest is the question of what happens to a person when their god dies? In cases outside the Hegemony, it would be a matter of metaphysical analysis, such as does that god's created afterlife die with them, but for a Tyraptrian the question has darker implications. Unlike most of the Coalition's (of Executive Governments) civilizations, the Tyraptria infuse themselves with their god's essence through Altar Catalysts. These Catalysts change the person to become more like their god, being remade in their image so to speak. This is a very common practice within their society. So that leaves the question, when a god dies or is killed does all his Altared die with him? Is it instantaneous as it seems to have been on Arajryn?
Fortunately, the creation of the Panantheon has caused stability and peace but what happens if the gods go to war? Arajryn testifies as a warning to both gods and their followers.
