The Reawakening
The Reawakening is an event that was first written about by the Ancient Mesjra poets but has since been found to be in most, if not all, cultures. It has been extensively studied by anthropologists and philosophers alike. Whether this event is some kind of natural creation that is happening over time or if it has somehow been done through artificial means is still hotly debated.
It should be noted that there has not been any references to the Reawakening within any known precursors text or remnant sites. Some belief that this is because the reawakening somehow divided the last cosmic epoch from the current. This event seems to have even effected the Aspects as even the oldest known do not have any memory prior to the sudden awakening of their consciousness. This is often sited through the oldest known Mesjran Poetry that dates back over 9,000 years.

Written in the first religious of the era it opens with: Behold all of creation and their Aspects awoke in darkness for the light had returned.
Currently a group of researchers have been conducting research and believe they have discovered a sort of loose pattern to the reawakenings. They state that the major empires seemed to awaken in order from those closest to the core and progressing out towards the galactic edge. It is known as the Core Awakening theory but as of now it still needs validating and inconsistencies such as the various pact worlds must be answered before the larger scientific community will make a ruling.Theories:

The Galastuc Cult believes that their was a great war between the Precursors and the Elder gods that ended in a cataclysm that sundered the cosmos.During this time the universe had to mend the damage done.
Those of the Scion's of Vardonus dismiss the claims of reawakening as merely a consistent genesis fable that seems to have reoccurred across cultures and species. Their detractors point out the presence of ancient Aspects that were there and have testified to the account of reawakening seems to dispel this. The Scions have since stated that those Aspects have something to hide. They have since been labeled as paranoid conspiracy theorists.
