The war between the Moridruun Hierarchy and the fractured Mesjran peoples.

The Moridruun were slowly colonizing the worlds around them when they came upon the already inhabited world of Magato. The Moridruun traded with the Mesjran people finding their powerful artifices filled with arcane energies to be impressive. A Moridruun general launched an invasion believing that the arcane resources were of the planet. He was unaware of the extensive caster network, known at the time as the Ancient Roads. His forces were quickly overwhelmed by after securing a beachhead. The Mesjran slaughter the general and his army to the man. This caused the Moridruun to declare war and thus the Horizon War began.   (WIP)
