S6. Wererats Claim "It's Mine"
General Summary
19 Marpenoth - 20 Marpenoth
*Pumba made a Fog cloud for cover, Keth tried to grapple the wererats, Radlis kept his eye on another door in the cave and everyone escaped the wererats without being cursed. Yay! Wolfaen was pretty badly injured in the initial fight but still escaped with the others.
*Raiya stayed behind for peace talks while Keth and Radlis tried to break down a door to get to her. A matronly rat who seemed to be in a leadership position said the dwarves should be alive and barricaded in the mines still.
*South of coneyberry, a ruined shrine with a good roof taken over by ogres and orcs. drive them out and the whisker gang will leave the mine
*Raskin signed a scroll in Flicker's bag ready for delivery for 100g saying he made it to the mine
*Pumba began teaching Keth about magic, and Keth learned a lot more about Pumba's love (Obsession?) with books
*the group headed to the coneyberry area to meet Big Al and check out the shrine.
*Raiya had a vision/dream that Wolfaen was torn to shreds and everyone died from a dragon attack, so she stayed at camp while everyone else snuck away for a while. On her own she was passed by a giant lightning boar that had something to do with Talos. Everyone reunited and retrieved their belongings.
*Petunia the cow informed the group that Orcs attacked and set fire to Butterskull Ranch the day before. The group stow her and 3 horses in a birch copse.
*Arriving at the ranch a burnt out building is seen, along with a couple dead orcs and a handful of dead humans near a pond and a still standing farmhouse
*The party hid in the a-maize-ing corn while Radlis used magic to open and shut a window at the farmhouse This drew out an orc which he attacked from a distance. The orc ran back inside (surely to get it's orcy friends) and Radlis dove back into the corn field.
