Brenheim
A relatively prosperous market town north of Kalamak, on the edge of Bos Kala.
If rumors are to be believed, the town has become something of a haven for smugglers, able to operate with impunity given the weakened state of the Alderni navy.
Industry & Trade
Brenheim is home to the Ruggenbroder Brewery, owned by the wealthy and influential Ruggenbroder-Sarren family. Elevated to the nobility a generation ago in lieu of debts owed to their family by House Sarren, the Ruggenbroder-Sarrens have a controlling interest in the Guild of Brewers and Vintners. Despite the restrictions on trade, Brenheim is one of the few places in Aldernord where one can reliably acquire Vinzaglian sea wine due to specific licenses negotiated by the Ruggenbroder-Sarren family and the Autocrat of Vinzaglio.
