Clarica Bjornrath-Mettvergen
Born 1322 AK into the client-house of Bjornrath-Mettvergen, in Witharen; her family are partially descended from elven renegades from Lith Tarsen who left the Enclave of Athelis in the 1250’s AK in protest against their rath’s alliance with the Balthan Clan Vildstrom, and who joined the Alderni cause at the Battle of Bos Vild in 1262 AK. Enrolled as a neophyte scholar of the Faculty Militant at the age of eighteen in 1340, by which time she was well on her way to mastering the basics of bladesinging - we understand that this is something of a family tradition. She is presently - to quote the Vice-Scholarch of the Faculty Militant - “performing in-depth research in the science of procrastination”.
We understand that you have already had the pleasure of meeting Clarica, who appears to have been invited to the wedding by Lisebet Mettvergen due to her house’s close affiliation to House Mettvergen; her father Escio is the commander of the Witharen garrison. We have not briefed her on your attendance or cover stories.Clarica is a magician and bladesinger of the rathi tradition, currently studying at the Academy of Gildenschloss. She is understood as being a close friend of Motion Ashbrook-Sarren, and as having connections with certain politically-radical factions within the Tower and further afield.
