Ekhard Hellaswicht-Bheuren
Born 1311 AK in the small village of Vinsgart on the river Uil in Kjelslund. Orphaned at the age of three when the village was razed by soldiers of the Balthan Clan Hemskaber, in order to prevent the advancing Alderni forces from crossing the Uil at the ford there. Found in the ruins of the village two days later by a priest of Ektrophos accompanying a band of Alderni knights, he was taken into the care of the cult of Ektrophos and brought to the monastery of Theriko. Deaf from birth, he was initiated into the Silent Watchers, a monastic order-militant dedicated to Ektrophos, from which the High Banishers of the Gilded Tower have traditionally been drawn. He was appointed High Banisher and anointed as a Banner-Knight of House Bheuren in 1341, following the retirement of High Banisher Roelanda Willemsdottir-Bheuren.
