Foundry Tower

The Foundry Tower is a notable landmark in Rostog, owned by the Guild of Bellfounders. Built in the early 7th century AK by Tevashi artificers who had come as refugees from Tzim Tevash, it incorporated a powerful magical furnace which was controlled by an ancient and complex mechanism of Tevashi design.
By the 1340's, the Tevashi mechanism had fallen into a state of partial disrepair and was no longer fully functional. It is believed that the Guild of Bellfounders, keen to avoid expensive repairs or the cost of hazard pay for living workers, entered into an arrangement with the House of Amratosh, commissioning a set of skeleton servitors to operate the machinery.
The advanced mechanisms of the Foundry Tower were destroyed in 1344 by a party of adventurers who had discovered that the House of Amratosh had concealed a bone altar within the structure.
