High Magic
Also known as Archritual, High Magic is used to create unique or large-scale effects beyond the scope of what "formulaic" magic would allow, or which otherwise "break the rules". It is almost universally time consuming, expensive, logistically difficult, or deeply morally questionable, and frequently several of these at once.
OOC Mechanics
The minimum requirements for using most forms of High Magic are as follows:- Being trained in the Arcane skill
- Having a copy of the relevant ritual text, or equivalent
- Meeting all requirements specified within the specific tradition, and within the specific technique
