Following the destruction of Belchetop - who had been High Warden at the time of the Fall of Vash Ossai - a goblin named Kiskaviskir Nikol was able to convince the Anima that they were the legitimate High Warden, to the extent that they were even able to command the malfunctioning Anima to instantiate within their mind for a period of time.

Responsibilities

The High Warden had overall responsibility for the maintenance of the Anima.
The High Warden was one of the two individuals whose authority was required to activate the Sower of Salt.

Accoutrements & Equipment

The High Warden was granted a magical amulet bearing a certain sigil, which acted as a mark of their authority. This amulet was said to give access to certain parts of Vash Ossai that were normally forbidden.

Notable Holders

At the time of the Fall of Vash Ossai the High Warden was a dwarf named Belchetop. Belchetop perished during the destruction of the city, but persisted as an undead creature until 1344 AK, when freed from the chamber in which he had sealed himself by a party of adventurers. He was destroyed not long afterwards by a drow named Zyltheas, who was in the employ of Zephon Runebrand.
