Pact of the Wolf

The Pact of the Wolf was an alliance between the mages of Kalamak, the Katari successor state at Kato Varos, and the independent principality of Ulfenbroeg. Its origins can be traced to the Treaty of the Ysber of 568AK which fixed borders between the respective domains of the three powers for ninety-nine years, though the alliance itself was only formalised in 667AK . The pact collapsed when the invasion led by Erastes Tideborn seized control of the citadel of Kato Varos, and its territories were incorporated into Aldernord shortly thereafter.
