Perleren
A prosperous town on the southern shore of the island of the same name, Perleren dates back to the time of the Empire of Kataris. Though most of the ancient town was destroyed during the Alderni conquest, the gardens of the ancient citadel that once stood at the heart of the city are still in good repair, and have been used by generations of apothecaries to provide all manner of exotic herbs. The citadel itself is little more than a series of ruined walls, the marble having been looted and used in construction projects over the ages - if there is anything of substance that remains from the time of the Basilisk Queens, then it is well buried indeed.
