A Respite in Hell
Downtime while resting in High Hall.
While Ravengard is resting, your group decided to get some much-needed rest as well. Your presence amongst the survivors who sought the comfort and safety of the catacombs beneath High Hall Cathedral is a welcome relief to those who had practically given up hope of surviving in Avernus.
You realize that perhaps it could be a few more days before Ravengard awakens from his experience in the Grand Cemetery. Pherria, an acolyte of Torm, said any magical means of forcing the grand duke to awaken may cause more harm than good. So, she said it's best to let Ravengard rest and recover on his own.
She said it might be days before he awakens, so you are welcome to make yourself as comfortable as possible. You are welcome to wander about the catacombs or the cathedral but warns of leaving the cathedral for your safety and any of the one hundred or so survivors. What do you do?

I wanted to try this Discussion Board as a way of roleplaying events outside of our usual weekly sessions. Please post what your character does or any interactions you may have with others in High Hall. If we need to, we can even roll dice for skill checks, etc.
[Jade] - The first night we decide to rest, I ask around to find someone who can tell me which way North is so I can sleep with my head towards the mountain of my homeland. Sadly it looks like, with no stars and no reliable compass points, there is no way to determine direction. Frustrated, i return to my sleeping area and pray to Okita Souji for continued leniency as I try to find North in this accursed land. I then lie the way I believe North to be and sleep. Upon waking, I will meditate for an hour still facing North.
