Session 47: Isle of Mor’du

General Summary

Followed the Sha'tala Fa'toleshe - she has not been seen for nearly 100 years. When she flew over you, everyone on deck felt a sense of calming from her benevolent aura as you watched her fly off in the night sky.   You made your way to Isle of Mor’du, a magically enchanted island where the native fruit and everything else was massive. Here you helped reunite an ancient gold dragon named Gemadan with her true form; laying her spirit to rest with her lover, an empyrean named Mor'du. However, Olga's beloved warhammer Gragnak was completely shattered in the process of breaking the egg that he spirit was being held in. For this great service, Gemadan combined the powers remaining in Gragnak with the axe handle belonging to her late husband to create Gragnak Reborn.   Gemadan shared with you that she lived on this islands for thousands of years until a large deformed human wizard with tentacles on his face nearly destroyed the island.   You found the Morkoth but unfortunately the weather was unfavorably foggy - causing your ship, the Moon Maiden to come up on them rather abruptly; causing the battle to start right away. You managed to release King Hekaton while killing all of the deformed sea cultists on board Bolivar, not knowing Tholtz Daggerdark (captain of the Morkoth) may be Ivellios' father, delivered the final killing blow to the powerful arch-mage. Infuriated, Ivellios cast several spells on Bolivar, incapacitating him. Vel then quickly healed Tholtz and brought him back to consciousness. All the while Eldred and Veena prevented Bolivar from entering the room they were in. In the final moments Ivellios and Tholtz Brightwood teleported away. Tensions running high there on the splintered deck of the Morkoth, Xyden told Beldabar to "fuck off" with Osk and the rest of the crew now that you successfully freed King Hekaton. Genuinely disappointed, the aasamir flew off making his way back to the Moon Maiden. You then had only but a moment before you heard a telepathic message infiltrate your thoughts... "I'M HERE!" Suddenly you watched as nearly a dozen tentacles shot up out of waters surrounding you; the Kraken Hath Cometh.
