Session 51: Connecting the Dots

General Summary

Started the Session with what Zephyr had been up to the past few days - consisting of meditating, training with Imperator Uthor, and an in-depth conversation with King Hekaton. Essentially Zephyr found out that there is a way around the Dodkong's scrying. There may be a way to permanently enchant and area/room with magic that disrupts his scrying ability but not completely shut it off so that he does not get suspicious. (ex. Magic Circle, Xye's Veil of Alternative Realities, etc.), however this degree of magic is not known by many as it requires an individual of incredible magical abilities. Zehpyr also learned that much of the Dodkong's power comes from powerful magical apparatuses - specifically his unknown gavel that may contain a Titan Stone, Crystalline Staff, Crown of Obadai, and potentially others. (side note - the Dodkong still abides by the 3 Attunement rule; many of the Titan Stones require attunement). Lastly, King Hekaton assured him that he along with his brother Imperator Uthor will join them when they go to face Iyamrith but they need to locate her exact whereabouts first (she is somewhere within the Anauroch Desert. Zephyr was then teleported back to Mirabar (a familiar city) and was shortly met by the friendly dwarf, Zezspar Bronzefire who escorted him to the Harper Villa. Meanwhile, back at the Harper Villa located within Mirabar the rest of the party woke up to a gathering of Harper officials downstairs - including Haper Kolbaz of Yartar who was not very pleased to see you to say the least. The halfling you had rescued, Nespril Menk, was High Sorcerer Vaeril's right hand man in Everlund. Nonetheless he was very grateful for what you did. Interrupting the meeting, a female figure suddenly teleported into the long hall you were all gathered in. She is a tiefling with very pale skin and short white horns and long brown hair wearing green robes and wielding a staff/bow type weapon - you came to know her as Arcanist Eudora. She is an incredibly powerful and smart individual - she is neither Harper nor Lord's Alliance or any other faction, but a respected figure who works amongst all the factions. She knows many people and her influences stretches very far and wide. Upon a private meeting with her, she gave you a TON of knowledge about the events pertaining to you: There are five Orb's of Dragonkind 1 was recovered by Countess Sansuri from Everlund, which Delsaphine stole 3 are in secured locations scattered across the Savage Northwest 1 known as Dragon's Bane has been missing for decades; which is also the most powerful High Sorcerer Vaeril and her were star crossed lovers - he saved her from the clutches of the powerful demon Maraxaxs as a young girl and raised and trainer her himself. Maraxaxs is also the one who covets Dragon's Bane within his extra-plannar domain - the entrance of which lies somewhere deep beneath the surface of the world near Daggerford. She will reward you all handsomely if you can recover Dragon's Bane from this demonic entity. Zehpyr's condition/curse is potentially fixable; will do more research on how to do that The same undead army that destroyed Eldred's hometown and stole the Bice Crag was led by the same individual that destroyed Zephyr's hometown in search of Leben fur Immer - the amulet that Zephyr carries with him from his mother. That individual is Wulgreth, the Dodkong's General. He bares the Bice Crag imbedded in his chest and possess a Gauntlet that has allowed him to harvest this undead army (consisting of Eldred's family) You shared with her all the info pertaining to the Titan Stones; in fact Xyden had one with him that he recovered from Lyn Armaal - the Pennant of the Vind Rune. When he took out the pennant Eudora immediately recognized it for what it was and cast her own Veil of Alternative Reality spell which lasted much longer than Xye's. You entrusted her with the Titan Stone and she is storing it safely. She told you that there is one other Titan Stone in Countess Sansuri's possession - the Nimbus Stone After more conversation, you eventually convinced her to go with you to cast Speak with Dead on High Sorcerer Vaeril. You were able to obtain a good amount of information and even let Eudora ask him a question. She asked, "Can Khelben "Blackstaff" Arunsun be trusted?" to which Vaeril's corpse answered No You eventually teleported back to Stone Shinglewing in Citadel Adbar to touch base with everyone at the keep. Zezspar Bronzefire was instructed to go with you there to ensure your safety, now the Eudora knows of the threat of danger that follows you. While there you gave your cestillian, Thorin Maplesword a few errands to complete while you're away. Dral Snooger was granted his own room within Stone Shingle Wing. Currently Zezspar, Dral, Bolivar, Eldred, and Zephyr await at the keep while Vel is on his way to Ice Mountain Infirmary were Olga is currently by her mother's side
