Cloning Technology

Cloning technology was the first key to unlocking the power of the cell. One of the keys to forging a new future. First was a beast a pet close to the scientist who decided to dabble with the blueprint of creation.

Cloning techlogy was one of the first stages of genetic manipulation. Used to create copies of other living things. It started the path to mastering the cell. The starting experiments leas to great breakthroughs as they worked to see what is possible till they created the first cloned Unsarian.

After much debate it was established that cloned life forms were deemed unique life forms separate from the original. While they would be seen as lesser it was given protections as other Unsarians and was deemed the responsibility of the one who cloned them.

Social Impact

Their was an uproad when the first animals were cloaned and great arguments once a human was cloned. It was condemed out of fear of it corrupting what it means to be a Unsarian.  This forced many to fight against it politically to make sure it did't become common place.

Access & Availability

It is closeley guarded and needs certain aprovals for anyone to even dable in such things. Right now their are only few companies allowed to deal in cloning and only to aid in preventing extiction events for wild animals. It is currently forbidden to clone a sentient life form and could be met with life in prison or the death penalty for the scientist.

Discovery

It was discovered by a scientist trying to see if it was possible to convert cells into an embryo like form. The plan was to see if it was possible and then use that knowledge to copy an animal with certain viable traits. If they could figure it out they could have the key to stopping the extiction of some animals by keeping a collection of diffrent cells from diffrent animals. With it the scientist could keep a certain specices from becoming extict by reintroducing clones of those who have died to hopefully buy time for repoplation.
