Introduction to Legacy of Unsu

Legacy is about an uncertain future. A universe ruled by science and money. A Universe that has no problems messing with things they don't understand. Creating the monsters and dangers that inhabit the universe.

What Came Before:

What came before is connected to myths and legends. Stories that are filled with mystcism and lack of understanding. What is known is that once their was a paradise where many races called home. That paradise came under threat and supposed goddess came up with a plan. A means to transfer the many races of that world across the universe in ships known as arks. These Travelers would gain the name Arkian for the arks they traveled in.
The Arkians would leave their world in a billion diffrent arks and travel across the stars till they found homes on diffrent planets. Given a chance to rebuild and thrive. Overtime forgeting what once was and having to build anew. Only reclaiming some aspect of what was lost when they began their own travels through the stars.

The Universe

THe Universe is vast and near endless. Having so few of that space broken up into factions and goverments. These galactic goverments working diffrently from eachother which leads to political clashes and even wars. That which isn't controled by one of these powers either fall under lawless sections of space or birthing ground for new factions trying to equal the power of others. That which hasn't been touched by civilization can have dangerous creatures or discoveries that can impact the greater universe.
But at the heart of this universe is the quest to prove that they exist. That they will leave an impresion that will not lead to them forgotten for other races to discover their ruins.

The Races

There are many races that exist in the universe some have aligned themselves to form governments. While others have figured out their own way to survive on their own. All will come in contact eventually if they traverse the stars.

Unsarians:

The Unsarians are a human like race that come from the world of Unsaria. They are a proud race who have mastered advance technology to allow them to expand pass their planet. They also mastered the means of working with others to help form the Alliance of Galactic Order. Over time the Unsarians grew corrupt as buisness and trade became more important than gaining allies for exploring.

Fenrians:

The Fenrians are a lupine and canine humanoid race that follow a warriors code. They are strong warlike races that value strength. When the Fenrians first met the Unsarians they were already at war with the Maulins. Not caring how risky it may be they attacked this new race they came across. When the Unsarians showed they had some teeth, the Fenrians found another race with a warriors blood.

The History

THe History of Legacy is Vast as each race and governmental power had thier own histories that culminated over centuries. So the key things to know is what events set the tone and events of the present.

The Creation of the Hybrids:

The Creation of hybrids was a big moment for the universe. It was the first time that new life was totally created in a lab. Not a clone or copy of someone buy a new species. They were created to do the jobs that regular life forms couldn't ot even wanted to do. It was suppose to begining of a new era that would have made great progress for the AGO. For a time they did as many new colonies, minning outposts, and factories spread across the universe thanks to this new work force.

Hybrid Rebelion:

Hybrid Rebelion occured after a couple decades of serving their masters. One hybrid lead a rebelion on a research station that was using the hybrids to aid in digginig out relics. They seiged the base and sent out a call to all hybrids across the network. More hybrids would rebel stealing ships and joining the hybrids on the researchs tation who have dug up a arkian ship. Before the AGO could send a force to stop them they had activated the ship and warped beyound known space.

The Factions

There are many factions in legacy vying for power and resources. Some bring about war, others innovation through science, and others just like to cause a bit of chaos.

The Alliance of Galactic Order:

The Alliance of Galactic Order is a major player legacy as one of the three galactic goverments. The AGO believe in forming bonds with others to better expand their reach. Making trade deals, forming research project together, or creating defensive partnerships. All to further their goals in growing their economic strength to help fund and develop further expansion through out the universe. This is not some great destructive goal, but simply the best they can belive in by using the free market to gorw it's influence in the galaxy.

The Commonwealth of the Stars:

The Commonwealth is made up of a collection of races who chose to live in harmony with eachother. Their goal to bring about peace through harmony. The Commonwealth was started by the Gaians who already has a society based around this concept. As they met other alien species they sought to find common ground with them before teaching them about the harmony they belived in. Over time gaining more races who belived in bringing harmony through their actions.

The Major Players:

Blue Oni:

The Blue Oni is an Up and comming infiltrator who has begun to darken the frontier sector with their presence. They have been causing problem's here and there. Dispearing with out a trace in most situations. They are slowly pissing off a lot of people who wouldn't hesitate to take them out. With them being backed by the truth seekers they have mostly remained a myth.

Yasuke:

Yasuke is a legendary warrior who fought in the war against New Eden and the Hybrids. He served in the Oda Battalion and played a good part in stopping the enemy. He would play a key role in the siege of New Edens Headquarters and making a blow that would destroy the leadership of New Eden and leave the Hybrids a broken people. After which he would fake his death and join the Truth Seekers to take part in a special project.
