Swamp Drake

The drake that lives in the swamp is a large, fearsome creature with dark green scales that shimmer in the dim light of the murky waters. Its body is long and bulk, with powerful legs that allow it to move quickly through the thick mud and tangled roots that make up its habitat. The drake's spine and crest are lined with needle-sharp bone capable of administering venom to any that comes in contact with it. Despite it's imposing appearance in terms of physical combat, the swamp drake possesses a breath attack of green fire, although its breath does not inflict fire damage, but nature damage. The drake is also highly territorial, fiercely defending its patch of swamp from any intruders that venture too close. Its roar is deep and guttural and can be heard echoing across the marsh for miles around, warning off any would-be challengers.
