Daind de Stratford
Knight of Stratford Daind ap Cunobacha
Daind was the wise and calm knight.
The bastard son of the otherwise virtuous Sir Cunobacha. Some say Sir Daind fought for King Constantine. No one except Duke Eldol could confirm it. Just like his brother, Mabon of Brighthill, Daind was a man of the land, and he was loath to leave his manor for longer than a fortnight. In his later years, this old codger served Lord Roderick by hiring mercenaries, as he had connections to the most prominent wandering knights, and often host them while they negotiate with the Count. He showed up to Pentecost and to the feasts, where he often took great pleasure in outwitting young knights in games of chance.
