Sir Ionas ap Carrec

Ionas was Sir Aldwyn's squire for many years, and was sponsored to become a knight by his very own mentor, as he was the fifth son of a minor knight of Bedegraine, but also a son of a cousin of Sir Aldwyn's mother.
Ionas is renowned for being a keen player of games, which has made him one of the most socially active knights in Sarum.
A few years back, Ionas fell in love with the daughter of a miller, but Anwyn died in childbirth, leaving Ionas alone with a daugther that has been raised among the women of Sarum.
His talent for games has given him a eye for strategy, which gave him the Lady Ellen's ear in the concerns of defense during the days that followed Roderick's passing.
Sir Ionas died in the Battle of Cambridge, as he fought with great glory and ensured the victory when the Salisburians charged into the Essex King's inner circle. He died by Sledda of Essex 's hand.
