One of three Aquitanian knights that swore fealty to Earl Roderick after the March of Aurelius. Reccared the Red was dubbed so for his fiery locks. Of his three brothers, Reccared was always the boisterous one, the life of the party.
He respects Roderick, but the highest devotion is to his uncle Solis, the White Fox, and he controls himself far more whenever his uncle is nearby. Reccared has been wed for several years, even has a few children, but has not managed to gain land like his brother once did.
He adores his namesake, young Reccared, and have always seen the greatness in the lad. And now that Reccared have grown in reputation, he feels validated in his hopes. Reccared the Golden might be the best knight their line has ever produced.
He lived through the Anarchy, and is now the caretaker of Berewick Manor, a place for him to settle down in his old age.
