The Naddar River
This springs from the hills near Spearshaft, is joined by it's own tributary the Sem River, and near Floodriver it joins with both the Avon, Bourne and Wylve.
But, unlike the Wylve and the Bourne, this river does not run a deep cut through chalkland.
The Naddar River runs through the Vale of Wardour, cutting through the clay-filled lands with ease turning the land around it into a landscape of scarps and deep combes. The Naddar itself runs deep and lazy, it's waters bordered with plenty of vegetation.
With the many small tributary streams, it has been easy for little villages to spread away from the river itself, as they live in the lush meadows and wooded hills of the valley.
