Tala Eldren

The current queen of the nation Brimbaria, and sister to the brimbarian hero, Mildivar Eldren. Her reign has been one of progress, and protection. She is the first queen to host an alliance between Brimbaria, and the draconic nations, as fragile as the alliance is. She has only been queen for half a century, and she is still inexperienced, but she has her brother as her adviser, and he has helped her greatly.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

She is fairly strong for a brimbarian, having been trained to wield a sword since she could hold one. She is almost unrivaled in speed, able to reach speeds of almost 25 miles per hour.

Personal history

From the beginning, she was trained to be queen. She quickly learned all there was to learn about how to properly govern her nation. Her father was killed in an accident, and she was forced to become queen before she came of the age necessary. Paranoia of assassination, or an uprising drove her to request that her brother, who was at the time the leader of the Brimbarian Archers, to assign his unit to protect her. This request couldn't have come at a better time. Less than a month after the archers were assigned to protect her, the royal court was attacked by the Children of the Eternals. While her brother almost lost his arm, she gathered the courage to pick up a sword, and defend herself. She fought off the cult with the help of the archers. This one moment taught her that she could protect herself. She no longer relied on the archers for protection, though she still desired something between her, and a potential attacker.
After looking through all of Brimbaria, she found a Dire Wolf that seemed to be drawn to her. She took the wolf back to Eldara, and named him Ghile Mear. Ghile Mear became her loyal guardian, always at her side. Mildivar became her personal advisor. This was the start of a new phase in Tala's rule over Brimbaria. One of progress, and security. She and her brother both tightened Brimbaria's grasp on the Children of the Eternals. She was eventually introduced to one of Mildivar's closest friends, a young draconin sorcerer named Sprizen Akkamara. Sprizen told of how he needed Mildivar's aid, and that it would require him to leave Brimbaria for a short while. As she was about to say she needed Mildivar in Brimbaria, she was told of how Brimbaria was under attack from orcs. She oversaw the whole battle, and witnessed the young Sprizen's power unfurl. Still, it was not enough to stop the orcish advance. She was among the last standing, but was captured by the orc invaders. While in captivity, she heard Kainox the Undying himself talk of his dark masters. She began to think the cult attack from when she first became queen, and this invasion may be connected to a larger agenda.
She would not find out for sure yet, as when she was freed by the same draconin sorcerer, she heard of how Kainox would be going to Doh'garus for prosecution, and would likely be sentenced to life in prison. She let the draconin keep the orc as a reward for having freed all of Brimbaria. A couple years later, the same draconin came to her regarding a war between Doh'garus, and Midor. He was requesting Brimbaria's aid. She had already poured most of her resources into keeping the cult at bay. The alliance between Doh'garus and Brimbaria was fragile, but she couldn't simply transfer any of her forces at this time. The only thing she could do to maintain this alliance, and her own nation's safety, was to send a detachment of Brimbarian Archers to provide defensive aid to Doh'garus.
Ten years later, she was approached by a draconin woman who claimed to be Sprizen's lover. She told this tale of how Sprizen was not himself, that he was going to do some things that could cost him everything. She said how she needed the help of Mildivar to stop him. Mildivar confirmed the draconin woman's story. Reluctantly, Tala allowed Mildivar to join the draconin woman. Only a couple days later, Mildivar returned. He told a story of how he didn't even recognize his closest friend. He had a tale not of a draconin seeking redemption, such as the previous stories, but rather one of a being of burning hatred. A tale of how he nearly died while trying to calm the sorcerer's rage. Tala knew not how to comfort her brother, but she could understand his pain, to an extent.
Recently, she finally got an answer to an old question. As Eternity was starting to crumble, and as the cult made one last push against everything, she caught, and captured one of these cultists. The man was raving about how all life on Eternity would soon end, and that it would soon have its perfection restored. That is the connection between Kainox's conquest, and the cult attack. It was nothing against her specifically, but rather a massive ongoing mission to end all life in general. As she was still interrogating the man, all the cult's power dissipated. They are now weak. She took this as a call to arms. She rallied all of Brimbaria's forces in a massive purge that would wipe all mention of the cult off the face of Eternity.
