As the dragons served Deos, and the draconin served the dragons, there was still very little exploration held by either party. They both had a purpose, and lived it well. Anything outside of that purpose, they considered trivial. These trivial matters included exploration in the eyes of the dragons and draconin. Deos' next creation would have the purpose of exploration.
For a thousand years, the draconin served the dragons, and worshipped Deos. This was all they desired to do. While Deos was proud of the determination displayed by both parties, they still did not explore the world that he had laid forth. His next creation, was born of the magic which his youngest son had made. He made them shorter in stature than his draconin, as to make the world seem larger. He made their skin softer, less rigid than the scales of the dragons, and draconin, and streamlined their legs to have only two joints, allowing them to stand straighter. He would use many of the basic systems which he had given the draconin. He gave them not only the ability to comprehend, but the desire to make things such as music, and art.
The fact that they were made from the magic of the Old World gave them a desire to explore said magic, and all that it influenced. They called themselves the Brimbarians, which in their own tongue meant "Explorers." And, that is what they did.
