Erudite

The human followers of Erud that left Antonica hundreds of years ago. They ended up settling in Odus and founded the city of Erudin. The Erudite culture favors knowledge above all else and are the library of Erudin is considered one of the marvels of Norrath and a fountain of arcane knowledge for those that prove worthy. Not without their own troubled past, the Erudites are in constant conflict with the Heretics who delved to deeply into darker magics….

• Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
• Age. Erudites have lifespans comparable to humans. They enter adulthood in their late teens and usually live less than a century.
• Size. Erudites are similarly built to humans. Your size is Medium.
• Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
• Learned. You have proficiency in either the Arcana or History skill.
• Developed Mind. You have advantage on all Intelligence and Wisdom saving throws.
• Innate Spellcasting. You learn one Wizard cantrip of your choice. In addition, you can cast Shield spell. Starting at 3rd level, you can also cast Nystul’s Magic Aura with this trait. Once you cast these spells, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
• Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice.
