Iksar

These reptilian humanoids care for themselves and little of the plight of others. This is due to their incredible harsh history and conditions of their continent of Kunark. Once slaves to the Shissar Empire, a mysterious sickness destroyed the empire and left the Iksar to overcome their oppressors. Only in the last few years was settlements by outsiders in Kunark founded and a peace was brokered between the Dark Elves and Iksar and both have become allies in the loosest of terms. Their culture is largely agnostic but some worship various dark gods and nature deities as they see them as the ones that freed them from oppression with the mysterious mist called the Greenmist.
