Northmen

The Halasians of the North have lived in their rugged city of Halas for many years, eking out an existence in the harsh tundra of the northlands. Also known as Northmen to outsiders, they are usually devotees to The Tribunal and Mithaniel Marr. Northmen are a sturdy people who largely keep to themselves, though they do maintain trade routes through to the Human cities of Qeynos and Freeport. They hold a particular fondness of the Dwarves and their ability to drink ale as well as Guktans and their renowned valor in battle.
• Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.
• Age. Northmen have lifespans comparable to humans. They enter adulthood in their late teens and usually live less than a century.
• Size. Northmen are between 6 and 7 feet tall and weigh between 200 and 280 pounds. Your size is Medium.
• Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
• Natural Athlete. You have proficiency in the Athletics skill.
• Relentless Endurance. When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
• Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
• Northern Born. You have resistance to cold damage. You’re also acclimated to high altitude, including elevations above 20,000 feet.
• Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Halasian.
