Elves

Anciant magical creatures who have lived this land long before us

Basic Information

Anatomy

Elves are a humanoid race, meaning they are simillar to humans... Or are we similar to them? The difference is probably the larger and pointy ears, in addition to the very pale/translucent skin. Elves also have longer nails naturally. Their hair are never cut and grow extremely long.

Genetics and Reproduction

Elves do not have gender or reproductive organs. When two elves reproduce, they sacrifice themeselves in a way. Their bodies will be deconstructed and joined together to form a child (sometimes more than one, but it implies that there were more than two parents most of the time). The child will then be raised by the community.

Growth Rate & Stages

Elves grow very slowly, and it takes them centuries to be considered "adult".

Additional Information

Social Structure

Elves live in very small communities and such pick decisions as a group.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

We find elves in the Bodfarh forest (Sylvan elves) and in the Mounts Oendanlga (Mount elves)

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Naming Traditions

Names usually result from a mix of the parent's name, and a prefix or suffix added to adress the elf's magical capacities.

Common Dress Code

Elves dress with what is at their disposition, and make very little more than what they need. They do not have the interest for decorative clothing.
