Deameic is the common language of the Leland Confederacy. It is a derivative of the common language used during the Queendom Period with influences from the languages spoken on the Deamei Peninsula.

Forms of Deameic

People will commonly reference what type of Deameic they are able to speak. This can be valuable depending on one's professional ambitions.

Simple Deameic

Average citizens of the confederacy speak Simple Deameic, allowing them to conduct conversations and transactions with those from other provinces. This includes basic past, present, and future tenses as well as common words.

Complex Deameic

Those who live or work in Deamei are likely to speak Complex Deameic. This robust form of Deameic developed from Simple Deameic as those coming from around Leland to build the new capital province found it was the only way they had to communicate properly with one another. Over time it grew into a full-fledged language on par with any of the ancestral languages historically spoken in Leland.

Institutional Demeic

Official Confederacy business is conducted in Institutional Deameic, as is educational instruction in Deamei City. This form of Deameic is considered more formal than Complex Deameic but is more straightforward.
