Power of Composition is the ability to sense the way energies of ingredients interact with one another in a mixture and manipulate the outcome of those interactions.

Composition Terminology

Disciplines of Composition

Culinary Composition

The most common discipline is Culinary Composition. This involves the use of food ingredients and can be used to make extraordinary dishes as well as those with some kind of desired effect, such as mood-enhancement or some kind of psychedelic effect. This is the type of Composition that most compisceanes practice even if they don't specialize in it because of it being commonplace in everyday life.

Medicinal Composition

Medicinal Composition deals with the creation of medicines and potions. Usually focused on concoctions to help with healing, it's a little known fact that medicinal Composition also encompasses the creation of poisons.

Material Composition

Material Composition is a catch-all discipline for all non-ingestible forms of Composition. This can include things such as paint, cement, cleaning supplies, and . Mixtosceanes often work in conjunction with other enmanates who are able use the manipulated mixtures to do things that wouldn't be possible with unmodified materials.

Composition in Practice

Time Sensitive

Most mixtures have a finite window of time for compisceanes to be able to act on them. During the combining process there is a releasing and mixing of energies as components denature and combine, which the compisceane is able to manipulate. As the process completes the energy is reabsorbed into the mixture as a whole. After this occurs a compisceane can no longer manipulate the energy.
