Avandra's luck

This is something played in Thornsglinn to pass the time mostly in bars or more relaxed groups of friends who are just looking for a fun time. Usually there isn't anything bet when playing but some fancy to put money on the table and test if avandra has favored them to win the game.
It is mostly a game played up to 4 people. It isn't so much that there can't be more people joining however it was far more common if more than 4 people joined the same game a fight of some sort would follow the result.
Each of the numbers of the cards has its own distinct design usually indicating with how the higher the number the more prestine and the lower the number the thornier it was.

History

The game was originally played by sailors to pass the time on the seas however with the sailors in thornsglinn the game is more played over there and is more widely known

Execution

It is a very simple game that uses a specific deck of cards. The deck of cards is divided in three stacks one deck from 1 to 4 the other 1 to 6 and the last 1 to 8 all will be shuffled before play. It is common custody to play three rounds of it. From each deck you pull one card and add all the numbers to a total if your sum is higher than your opponents then you win.

Participants

The roles for everyone is the same and it is common custody to have each of the decks be shuffled by all players to make it as fair as possible and let lady luck decide who has won her favor. aside from that all of the people are players it is usually played up to 4 people however can be played with more.
