Marie Vehlow-Boerk was the second child of the former chancellor and temporary dictator of the Peasants' Republic of Aussel, Cilie Vehlow, and Elbel ven Boerk. Born with certain ailments that physicians were unable to identify and treat properly, Marie passed away less than a year after her birth, devastating her mother and leading her to a path of celibacy. Marie's older brother, Elbel Vehlow-Boerk, had been just under three years old at around the time of her death so the tragic event and his parents' grief are the oldest memories he has.
