Overview
Reizei had a hard time fitting in. His people, the Tengu, aren't big on studying. They make better servants and stay in one place, and his family nagged him to settle down into a proper role. But Reizei loves travel, history, and the folklore that intertwines with those stories. Since he's taken the caretaker/secretary job for Shitani Daisuke, he's finally found his place. Working for the renown folklore collector combines both the tengu strengths and his passion. He still gets a little guff from his family. But this is to be expected for someone who had to find his own way. He and Shitani-san find the most obscure tales. They explore the Nonogawa River Valley and even more remote areas in Japan.

Smokes, though he's trying to quit because it could affect his master's health
Speaks in a squawky, clicky voice and has a thick Nonogawa and Tengu accent
Loves crunchy foods, sometimes to the point of annoying others
Is often running low on ki, because of pranking and using magic all the time. He's had to resort to written Ofuda more times than he will admit. So, he always carries a pen and paper for just in case.
