Eyrs Thonich's Investigation, Chapter 3

General Summary

Eyrs and Eliander help a Vampire

Scarlet Secrets

Full breakdown of this session coming soon.
(10.6.610) Last time, Eyrs made her way to the temple of Valkur and had a wooden stake blessed by the priest, Wellgar Brinehanded. Then she made her way back to Xolec’s cellar, where she met Eliander Fireborn - the captain of the guard. Together the two formed a new plan. They would transport Xolec to a new place where he would have more freedom, and he would reveal to them the secrets he knows.
Eliander verified some of the outlandish stories that Eyrs told him, while Eyrs located Zolec’s coffin in the Temple of Valkur. Together, Eliander and Eyrs brought Xolec to a special cell in the prison that had been warded against magic. Once released from his coffin, Xolec revealed that a secret group had been making plans above his cellar.
Apparently, this group was run by Gellan Primewater and it planned to destabilize Saltmarsh and take it over. This group orchestrated the death of Mordecai Wavebreaker which was arranged to set James on a dark path. The three also came to the conclusion that the sea-war might be part of the plans to take over Saltmarsh.
Eyrs was told to keep low-key and so she went out and shot a Druid before accepting Eliander’s offer to stay at his home. She is currently staying with Eliander and Krag, cooking them food, and flirting with the former - who is finding her extremely tempting.
