Pirates' Basin

Pirates' Basin is the main basin of Hopeful Island.

Geography

This main water course of this basin is the Ukatanga River. It is born almost at the peak of the Mountains of Sorrows (around 6000m above the sea) and comes down quickly. After it reaches about 500m above the sea its slope diminishes and it becomes way more calmer and lenthic, perfect for navigation. It eventually disembogue in Piratbay. Five other rivers flow into river Ukatanga and, in those five smaller rivers, many creaks disembogue. All of these waterways make up for Pirates' Basin.
