Conservator
Restorer of texts.
"Why?" Rajaa said out loud but was the only person in the room. "You think that scholars would take better care of books than this." She looked down at a torn page. Handling the volume carefully she used her tools and knowledge to repair the tear in the page in a way that would be the least obvious when reading the book in the future. The repair job was obvious to her and others would surely notice it. "They won't appreciate the skill of the repair job. They'll probably just damage the book again."
