Session 3: Contact and Contacts Report

General Summary

The members of the group hit up their various contacts for information. Seems news of the missing people hasn't decimated widely through Sherborne as of yet. The names to match those of aether sensitive that have been tapped or returned from the Academy. An arcanist named Daia Iamor (human female sorceress) was responsible for tapping all the missing aether sensitive youth. They received information about a man with a Raven tattoo that had tried to buy a cartload fish from a traveling fishmonger at a hamlet near the woods, north of the river, outside of Rylye. Myles Rivzamzye (missing person) and Correll (Volitate) both are from that hamlet. Surge gets a look at a map of the area to compare the rough map to. The members gather up back at Ewan's house and share details on what they found and have dinner.
During dinner, Rixie comes to the house and does a reading on the items found in Lilathris hidden room. The journal gives her images of dead bodies, darkness, and someplace underground. The map gives her images of fear and danger and someone bad enough to frighten Lilathris to run. When she reads the orb, she sees pain, death, horror from the orb and passes out from psychic shock.
Asai finally arrives back at the house and is filled in on some of the information, not including the orb. Asai shares what she knows of Daia having come to the shop looking for biographies. Afterwards, a few spend time at the festival while other head home or to bed. Everyone preps in the morning to look for Daia and the head to Rylye later in the day. At Miriele's, Xenovu and her start with some morning music, irritating the entire apartment building. When everyone finally gathers at Miriele, they head out together.
They make their way to the hostel and Miriele charmed their way into Daia room. Searching the room they find a hidden set of black clothing in the false bottom of a chest, one like that of the rogues that burned down the book store, as well as the residue of the light green minty paste at the bottom of the chest. Miriele and Asai attempt to identify the substance unsuccessfully except noting the minty smell and the fume left the inhaler feeling heady. Finishing up at the hostel, the group makes their way to the northern gate and begins their journey to Rylye.
