Sea Ghost

Sea Ghosts are a poorly understood phenomenon that began occurring after the World Died, in which any body of water of substantial size, such as oceans, lakes, and rivers, becomes infested with undead spirits that attack and harass any who come near. Their large numbers and difficulty to remove or meaningfully address contributed greatly to the downfall of nearly all cities situated near large bodies of water, which at the time was most of them.
