Act 1, Scene 7: Final Battle above the Sparklewaith Valley

This is the battle for the Queen's body, to protect her and rescue here. Of course, this is not possible, as she is dead as a husk.   Two Pukwudgies emerge from their tents, chuckling, sauntering, making weird vocalizations, and wielding their hatchets   The Skulks (whoever is left) will hide outside the battle, ready to join whichever party seems likely to win. OR attacjk whomever has the Queen'seyes, to get them back... (this would be Cass)   In the midst of this battle, after Amanito and Daze make their entrance through their portal, the Skulk who carries the box with Jara'Halla's remains will dump the box, grab the gemstones, and make a run for the portal.   Once the portal is opened, the skulk who's taken the queenseyes (with the coffin or without) will rush it.
AFTER:
The Fairie Queen's court is built into the side of a low mountain above the valley. The interior is now slimed over, with a number of her court dead and dried like husks. The throne of gold and white, with patterns of wind and cloud, still stands although mildewed.   There are two side tables to the throne, each engraved with the alchemical symbols for the Air Element.   A dozen husks, like dried corn husks, vaguely shaped like little people, with stones for eyes. (See properties in treasures, remember, they have air properiies, poweful auras..)   A low moaning wind blows through the cavern, swirling and ebbing and flowing. Other court objects--a gossamer rug, blue wall hangings, art objects skummed over, along with beautifully carven chairs lining the walls.   Treasure items are laid out neatly on a wooden shelf (magic are un-skummed, gold in a small metal urn, others skummed but not ruined. NOTEBOOK: ACT 3, LEFT TO BE HANDED OUT   Items of treasure plus 10 tiny pixie-daggers and golden raiments, and little green belts of fibrous material. Seven goblets and five ruined bottles of fairy wine, now poisoned.
PORTAL OPEN, thanks to Amanito and Daze
The portal opens into a quasi-slum below the highly embanked skummroad. It is muddy and much-deserted, a kind of no man's land between the Jani District of Jack City and the more lively slums of the Northwest Gutter.   Amanito opened the portal with a prayer to the First-World deities, to enter and save it. (He is the one that hired the pc's in the first place, now wanting to help them finish it.). The portal he opened is one-way; one can only exit the first world; no-one may get back in.   The Belkers were following their nose, about to enter the first world, but the portal only opened one way, so they waited in case "the eyes" would exit on someone's person.   On the other side of the portal, the party will soon find many Skulks murdered and the gemstones stolen by someone more powerful (two belkers, who may threaten the party before actually taking the stones, if the party has them. OR. have left the area and may be following the party).   The murder / the Belkers leave traces that will lead to the E'in ruins some way or another, like the proverbial "X marks the spot," or something like it. Like the Skulk bodies asphixiated and choked and their possessions ransacked. Then NOTE has been dropped by accident.
(The implication is that the Belkers will be stalking our heroes.)   Maybe Not: The Belkers will be waiting there if the party still has the gems; waiting to take them. The Belkers scouted ahead into the Queen's realm, on a tip, so they know all about the situation there. They thought a skulk had the gems, but they're ready for whomever.   NOTE Says [on blue stationary in blocky letters]:   "Brendal and Windal, my Servants: Take the eyes and leave the rest. Kill to gain them if you must. The Queen'seyes are diamonds of air and wind; use them if you must, but at your own risk. In any case, make all haste to E'dara'ko. I will be there. The apex of the elemental power is now immanent.   "Seek the E'in temple ruins of E'dara'ko. I will be there.   "The eyes are of the wind and the sky and lightning and thunder, and great powers they hold. Bring them to me, so they can be used for their proper purpose once again.    "Do not fail. Your own survival is at stake. [signed] --Ka'Breeze, Sorcerer of the Elements"
THE STONES
Long ago the E'in and the Fey were at war; no one remembers why. The E'in developed a great weapon--a sceptor--that could channel their elemental power to ravage the first world.   A pair of Sprites--the Pokeo Twins (legendary)--stole away with the gemstones (all 8, of 4 elements) and saw to it that they scattered across all of the fey realm, to be hidden for good.   The E'in, in the latter days of their strength, developed sensors for the stones, and two by two the gems were captured back, by sensing, sleuthing, and questing. But this took many, many years, even beyond a century.

Each sensor was a tiny shard of gem, barely visible, embedded in a metal ring (copper, silver, platinum, gold). The Belkers have the silver (air) ring.   Now the Auran Gemstones are the only ones left, and the Belkers (on a mission by the E'in Sorcerer) have sensed the stones' presence and were present, hiding nearby, when amanito and the unicorn opened the portal.   (The portal only lets creatures out now, so the Belkers had to wait for creatures to exit. The skulks were slaughtered, but no gems. The party will be targeted strategically. It will be clear they have the gems.)     THE E'IN LEAD   Information needed: Travel to Devoso, the town at the mouth of the Aian River, on the Ailar Lake. Seek a gnome by the name of Higgencuddy. He seems to know everything about the region, but he's a bit tricky... [not given: on the other side of the lake is a seasonal camp called Wigropa, at the influx of the same river; the ruins you seek are upriver from there]
