Creation Story--Zephyran and South Brohd Zellor

Creation Story of the Zephyrans in the Beach-Dwarves of Southern Brohz Zellor

• Nothing but swirling frost and bitter cold, meeting up with a place of crazy, sparking fire; the two twisting together as if in battle. In the middle is a great gaping maw, a great gap called Ginnungar. A mix of ice and fire melts eternally into the gap, eventually creating all things from the mix of the two.
• Yemmer the Great Frost Giant comes forth from the Maelstrom–a giant larger than any you could conceive of. When he lies down for a nap, the Original Gods: Ardren and his two brothers ooze from his armpit, and an enormous cow named Bezzar lickes them clean of impurities. Thus they move forward into the world. First thing they do is destroy Yemmer and use his body to form the world, all parts corresponding to parts of the Earth and the Land of Yigdrazz.
• Ardren and his brothers find two logs washed up from the sea, Ash and Elm. From these they fashion the first beings, man and woman, called Ask and Elmar.
• All in all, there are 24 children of Ardren. 10 male, 10 female, and 4 others.

Thus the creation, but there is also a promised destruction, as Ragnoz, when all the demons, jotuns, dwarves, and evil sorcerers will rise up from the pits of Hel and fight to destroy the world.  And destory it they will, if there is any truth to ancient stories.  It has happened in the past, and it will happen again...
